Al-Jawf Province (Arabic: منطقة الجوف) is a region in the north of Saudi Arabia, bordering Jordan. Its capital is Sakaka.
History
The province contains the archaeological site of Dumat al-Jandal, an ancient oasis settlement mentioned in Assyrian records, and the Nabataean site of Qasr al-Farid nearby.
