Al-Qassim Province (Arabic: منطقة القصيم) is a region in the centre of Saudi Arabia, north of Riyadh. Its capital is Buraidah.
Economy
The province is the agricultural heartland of the Kingdom, producing a large share of its dates, wheat and vegetables. It hosts the annual Buraidah Date Festival, one of the largest date markets in the world.
