鲁卜哈利沙漠（空地）
鲁卜哈利沙漠是地球上最大的连续沙漠，是一片覆盖阿拉伯南部大部分地区的高耸沙丘。
概述
鲁卜哈利沙漠（阿拉伯语：“空旷的地方”）是世界上最大的连续沙漠。它覆盖阿拉伯南部约65万平方公里，包括沙特阿拉伯、阿曼、阿拉伯联合酋长国和也门的部分地区。
地理
沙漠的特点是巨大的沙丘，有些沙丘高达 250 米以上，并且极度干旱，几乎没有降雨。夏季气温可能超过 50°C。它是地球上最不适宜居住的环境之一。
探索和资源
20 世纪 30 年代，欧洲人首次穿越“空旷之地”，最著名的是英国探险家威尔弗雷德·塞西格 (Wilfred Thesiger)。后来它的石油储量得到了开发，它仍然是阿拉伯沙漠广阔和严酷的象征。
