Clima e turismo

Abha tem um dos climas mais frios e úmidos da Arábia Saudita, com temperaturas no verão raramente ultrapassando os 30°C. É um destino turístico doméstico popular, conhecido por suas paisagens montanhosas, pelo vizinho Parque Nacional Asir e pelo teleférico para Jabal Sawda.

Cultura

A cidade é conhecida pela sua arquitectura tradicional Asiri, pelo seu mercado semanal e pela sua cultura regional distinta, incluindo o vestido colorido Asiri e a dança tradicional al-Ardah.
