Overview
The unification of Saudi Arabia was the process by which Abdulaziz ibn Saud, starting from the recapture of Riyadh in 1902, brought the disparate regions of the Arabian Peninsula under a single state. It culminated in the proclamation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 23 September 1932.
